Hayden Panettiere, renowned for her roles in “Heroes,” “Nashville,” and the “Scream” series, has passed away at 36. Her passing was confirmed by her representative, though no cause of death has been disclosed. Her father, Skip Panettiere, remembered her as “an incredible light and a force of nature,” who brought immense joy and love to many.

Panettiere’s career in the entertainment industry began in childhood, initially appearing in commercials before debuting in film with her role as the voice of Dot in “A Bug’s Life.” She went on to feature in movies such as “Remember the Titans” and “Tiger Cruise.” Her breakthrough came at age 17 with her role as Claire Bennet on the popular TV series “Heroes,” which aired from 2006 to 2010, establishing her as an internationally recognized actress.

In addition to her success on “Heroes,” Panettiere gained acclaim for her portrayal of Juliette Barnes, a country music star, on the television series “Nashville.” Her performance earned her two Golden Globe nominations, and she recorded several songs for the show that charted on Billboard’s country music listings. Her film credits also include playing Kirby Reed in “Scream 4,” a role she reprised in “Scream VI” in 2023.

Despite her professional achievements, Panettiere faced personal challenges, which she openly addressed in recent years. She discussed her battles with addiction, recovery, and postpartum depression, and shared her experiences in a memoir titled “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” released earlier this year.

Panettiere leaves behind her parents and her daughter, Kaya Klitschko, as her family and fans mourn the loss of a talented actress and beloved figure.
