The Greek prime minister also articulated his strong support for Europe taking on a greater share of responsibility for its own defense. Beyond defense matters, Mitsotakis touched upon pressing global issues, acknowledging the ceasefire between Iran and Israel as a positive development. He concurrently stressed the urgent necessity for a similar ceasefire in Gaza, advocating for the swift delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.
